Walter Neil (Wally) Elder
Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Tuesday 9 September 2025, following an accident while out riding his bike, doing what he loved. Dearly loved husband of Christine and father of David, James and the late Elizabeth. Loved and remembered by his extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Wally’s life will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 5 Henry Street on
Friday 19 September at 1.00pm followed by private cremation.
The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
