Passed away peacefully on 20 September 2025. Dearly loved wife of the late Artie Thomas.
Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Ngaire and Rex, David and Kim, Trish, Peter and Christine.
Much loved grandma and great grandma.

I had the great honor of looking after Ruth's husband and the great pleasure to get to know Ruth. Her love for Arty and the love they had for each other was so beautiful. After leaving Redwood, seeing Ruth most days walking down past my house in Weld street most days was so nice to catch up, say our hellos and just check to see how both were doing.
