Died peacefully at Redwood Retirement Village on June 11th 2025, aged 89 years.
Loved husband of Margaret for 67 years and father and father-in-law of Patricia, Malcolm and Melanie, Karen and Andy Forbes, and Tracey and Shane Cross. Loved Puppa of all his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Ron will be held at St Christopher’s Anglican Church, Redwoodtown on
Saturday 14 June at 10.00am followed by private cremation.

Dear Margaret and Family,
I am saddened to learn of Ron's passing away. I knew Ron for many years. First in our years in the motor trade, Ron at Terry Motors and I was at Lucas Bros. We often had many conversations on matters common to the trade along with Laurie Saunders and Leo McKendry. Later in the Marlborough Art Society, Ron was Treasurer for a long time and during my time as President. It was during these times when the MAS was built into the organisation it is today and Ron's prudence and financial skills was a major contributor. I will miss him.
