The Mason family are sad to announce the death of Robert Francis (Bob) Mason, aged 85 years. He passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the Ashwood Park Retirement Home in Blenheim on the 17th February 2025. RIP Dad.

Sad to learn my old school friend has passed away- we shared many good times over many years.

Robert as cousins we all loved him dearly. He was lonely at home as an only child so joined up with us at Taieri Mouth. Had the devil in him and rather creative which took us on different adventures!!! Fun times were had, he certainly had a nice nature that I recall. I remember him always having Judy with him and taking you all out as little kids. We were rapt when you came to our cousin's reunion we had lots of laughs and memories were enjoyed.

We were neighbours in Beach Road, Waikawa Bay, Picton for a long time. Loved our trips to get oysters from the rocks and have a wine and beer together. RIP Bob. As we knew you ❤️
