Such a talented man who will be so sadly missed.
Was my daughters diving coach and provided his beautiful music at her wedding.
Enjoyed our snooker times together. Thanks for providing our family with so many lovely memories.
Love, Colin and Chris Currie and Amber Parker.

I knew Mr Bargh as a saxophone teacher, a diving teacher, and a bandmate during my time at intermediate and high school in Blenheim about 25 years ago. He was an inspirational teacher, a passionate and talented musician, and a man who demonstrated such a love for life it was impossible not to be pulled along by his charm and enthusiasm.
Mr Bargh helped me develop my love for jazz, and especially overcome my fear of improvised solos. He was patient, kind, and endlessly funny. He used to greet me by asking things like, “What’s shaking, baby?” and playing a little riff.
I will always be grateful for the time I was able to spend learning from him. Now as a teacher myself, I can only marvel at his seemingly unending reserves of energy and how this gave everything he did that extra special, Peter Bargh sparkle.
My deepest condolences to his family, and all those who had the joy of learning from him or playing music with him over the years. He lived life with true showmanship, and every day with the flourish of a big band’s final note.

My sincere condolences to all the family. Peter taught me alto saxophone and I enjoyed that time and always admired the him. Rest in peace Peter. A wonderfully talented man whom I enjoyed knowing in those years.
