Ngaire Beryl Valk (née Thomson)


It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Ngaire, on Monday 5th May 2025. Aged 71 years.
 Dearly loved partner of Murray Bishell. Loved Wife of Graham (dec). Loved Mother, Mother-in-Law and Nana of Jeffrey, Frith, George, Edward and James; Matthew, Anna, Anais, Louis; Sarah, Darren and Emma Clifford. Loved Nana Ngaire to Scott, Rachel & Alex; Simon, Sara, Lauchlan and Cameron Bishell. Special Sister, Sister-in-Law and Aunt. 
A Special ‘Thank You’ to the kind and caring staff at Wellington Hospital ICU, 
and Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.

Valk would be appreciated or may be made at the service. A celebration of Ngaire’s life will be held at the Church of the Nativity, Alfred Street, Blenheim on 
Tuesday 13 May at 1.30pm followed by private cremation. 
The service will be live streamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
