Mary Benignus Norton (née Ryan)


On September 5th, 2025, at Bethsaida, peacefully surrounded by Mick and her loving family,
 in her 87th year Mary passed away. 
Dearly loved wife of Mick, and adored mother and mother-in-law of
 Katherine and Ross, Greg and Nicola, Michele and Rob, Suzanne, Mark and Heather, David and Sue, 
Clare and Gordy and Helen and Lou. Loved Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
A loved sister and sister in-law, aunty and friend to many.
 Mary’s smiling face will be sadly missed.

 Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Maxwell Rd, Blenheim,
 on Wednesday, September 10th at 1pm followed by interment at the Omaka Cemetery. 
The service for Mary will be live streamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
