Rest in Peace Aunty Peggy
Our condolences to Kathleen, Paula, and their families and to John's family.
When Phil and I visited Sandra in Blenheim just a few weeks ago during March, the three of us visited Peggy at Ashwood. She was bright, cheery, greatly looking forward to her 100th birthday party, and invited us to attend. She also told us a few funny stories, and about family news. We enjoyed the visit. It leaves more fond memories on top of some of the stories told during Peggy's funeral. I also remembered the card evenings at Jack and Peggy's when we were children, and our parents, Bill and Ethel McPhee played cards with Jack and Peggy while we played.
I also remembered, who could forget, the delight when Jack and Peggy would arrive at our place
with a plate of her wonderful ginger gems.
Thank you for having Peggy's funeral live-streamed, it helped enormously to be able to participate from Sydney.
