Malcolm Edwin Alfred Bancroft
Passed away peacefully on 23rd January 2026 with whanau beside him, aged 98 years, just 8 days short of his 99th birthday. Dearly loved husband of the late Enid Bancroft for 71 years.
Loved and proud father and father In-law to Grant & Sallie and Philip.
A wonderful Pops to Deedee, Dave, Gracie, Jack, Aaron, Amelia, Evelyn, Maxime, Keporah, Eli and Sinead.
A gentle caring uncle to his wonderful nieces and nephews.
A special mention to Christine Evans for all her help with Malcolm and Enid, he appreciated your friendship. Our wee Florence nightingale.
The family wish to sincerely thank the team at Springlands Lifestyle Village for their care and support, also a special thank you to the residents who got to know Malcolm well.
In accordance with Malcolms wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held in Christchurch at a time to be advised.
