On 28 November 2025, peacefully at home, in his 96th year. 
 Dearly loved husband of the late Alma and a much-loved father and father-in-law of the late Chris; James and Sandy (Long Valley); Warren and Kate (Melbourne). Loved Grandad of Lisa, Sarah, Gabrielle; 
Jessica, Cameron and Ella; Rose and Lily. Great grandad of Christie.

 A Funeral Service for Dale will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 
15 Boyce Street on Wednesday 3 December at 11am followed by interment at the Havelock Cemetery. 
 The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
