To Beth's family, it has been a privilege to have known Beth over the last few years through the Awatere Garden Club. She was a delight to have in the group and I know that she loved getting out and seeing the gardens even when she wasn't as mobile.

It has been a pleasure to have her ride with Mum and myself over the years to garden club, firstly in Mums car and then in mine. She was always appreciative, always caring, and always contributing - to the sales table, purchasing raffle tickets, and providing her $5 when we travelled further afield.

When I asked about her family she always spoke about how she was supported with grocery shopping and appointments. She felt loved and cared for.

It will be a loss to garden club not to have her there, and it will feel strange not being able to collect her for our garden club days or dropping off her newsletter.

Although I was sick yesterday, I'd arranged another member to ring her and collect her for garden club.
Needless to say they couldn't make contact with her earlier in the week.
Quite fittingly, she died on our garden club day, the first Thursday of the month.
Rest easy Beth, you deserve it.
Much love to you all.

Raelene. I'm so sorry to learn of your recent losses. Your mum was an amazing woman who is reflected in you.
These are difficult times so please take strength where you can. Best wishes.
