Dear Barbara, will be so dearly missed by me and all her many dear friends.
I will always think of you Barb in your other happy and peaceful place, namely sitting under the oak tree looking
out at the Creek. Chardonnay or bubbles and a platter on a sunny day.
Our family loved your visits and how much you loved a "tree day" of tranquility, great conversation and much laughter. And our precious Bookclub gatherings of cherished friends.
Treasured memories. You are dearly missed 🌳🥂💔

Barbara never quite managed to become Irish despite her best efforts, her love for all things Irish and possibly enough Chardonnay to qualify for honorary citizenship. But her true happy place was always Rarotonga, sunshine, laughter, good company and absolutely no urgency.
Her dry humour, wonderfully sharp one-liners and incredible resilience through life’s challenges became legendary amongst us at NSSBC - The Not So Serious Book Club.
No gathering will ever feel quite the same without Barb’s perfectly timed comments, hearty laughter and her talent for turning an ordinary lunch into an afternoon none of us wanted to end. Chardonnay glasses were rarely empty, conversations were never dull and somehow Barbara always made things more entertaining.
Barbara, you are deeply missed, fondly remembered and forever part of our story. 🥂🌴📚 🤍

So very sad to hear of Barbara's passing. The last time we saw her was her happy place - Rarotonga.
RIP Barbara

The many memories of you during your nursing days. Catching up with you in Rarotonga where you proudly showed me Ross's ashes up there on the shelf in his happy place. A life well lived Barbara.
Rest in peace now.

Barbara was a loyal and hard working friend and colleague. I well remember the day she told me she and Ross were going to open a winery. Her life changed from then on until it was all about Chardonnay and Rarotonga!
It has been great to know you.

Sincere condolences to Barbara's family. We were nursing colleagues at Wairau. Bless you all.
