Passed away suddenly on 10 April 2025, aged 79 years. Loved husband of the late Colleen, treasured father of Gareth and Merryn and father-in-law of Raewyn, and adored, cheeky Grandad of Katie.
A funeral service will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street,
Blenheim at 2.30pm on Thursday 17 April followed by an afternoon tea.

Please accept our condolences on the death of Ash. John and I have had lots of fun times together.
We have stayed with Ash and Colleen, and always been very welcome. Ash was super nice to my Mum Brenda.
They spent quite a lot of time together. Ash is a first cousin of mine and will be missed.
