Alexander John Wyllie (Alex) M.B.E. 


With heavy hearts, we share that Alex (Grizz) passed away peacefully on Saturday 22nd March 2025 at 
his home in Picton surrounded by loving family. 
Beloved soulmate of and best friend to Jenny. Loved father and father-in-law to Craig and Jane, Jacq, Kirstin & Tim, Amanda and adored stepfather and father-in-law to Kate & Matt, Anna & Luke. Grandfather to Samuel, Pippa, Oscar, Charlie, Maddox, Joe, Finn, Izzy, Brooke, Paige, Cooper, Charlie, Eddie, Ru. 
 “His legacy will be carried forward in the memories he made with each of us.”
As per Alex’s wishes, a private family cremation has been held. 
There will be a memorial in his honour to celebrate his life at Glenmark Rugby Club on 
Sunday, April 6th at 2pm where stories will be shared, glasses will be raised. 
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Marlborough via their website would be appreciated.
