Our Premises
Cloudy Bay Funeral Services has been purposefully built with everything on-site. We are very proud to have achieved a warm inviting funeral home for our Marlborough province. This includes an inviting reception area which leads onto either an arrangement room, with a casket display room attached, viewing room to spend time with your loved one if you choose and a headstone arrangement area.
From the off street car-park we have a large foyer next to our modern chapel with an attractive stone wall which has water cascading down behind a native garden. For a small private farewell, the room adjoining the main chapel maybe a more intimate choice. Next to this is our large modern catering lounge. We can provide all your media requirements, from power points, videoing the services or live-streaming the service to those around the world who are unable to attend. We also have our own cremator on-site.
Location for those travelling from away – we are 8 kilometers from the Blenheim Airport and situated within a short walking distance from motels, supermarket and restaurants. So for families who may be attending a service at our chapel everything is just a few minutes walk if you need to just come for the day or stay nearby for a service.
If you are just wanting a private farewell with a few family members or friends we can set up our smaller lounge next to the main chapel.
