"… your professionalism and attention to detail was so much appreciated by us all"
In addition to the services rendered, we recognise that many bereaved people feel isolated and in need of additional support beyond that which is given by family and friends. We believe that children are often overlooked at the time of a death in the family and that they have special needs in coping with a death at different ages in their development.
Janice Pigou has completed a course on Loss, Grief and Dying and gained a certificate in Grief Support. Together, with that experience, Janice is available to offer support and understanding.
She can refer you to professionals covering all the important areas of practical and emotional needs that arise after the death of a loved one or key figure in a person's life.
In conjunction with the after care visits, we have a free set of three books from the "Many Colours of Grief Series" which are offered to the family and sent out during the first year following a bereavement. These books include information and encouragement to assist people in their grieving.
